Eurovan International Movers Network (EM) is a network of independent local movers based in Germany. The network is designed to respond to the need to be able to provide consistent levels of service for international moves that may cross several countries.
Key facts about Eurovan International Movers Network:
- Where a move is taking place entirely within Europe, EM headquarters monitors, co-ordinates and controls all moves between one country and another.
- EM offers a range of services via its network, including coordinations and operations, storage and warehousing, packing and unpacking and origin and destination services.
- EM has seven worldwide partners covering Africa, Asia, North America and South America.
- EM has around 35 European partners with eight in the UK.
- Where EM headquarters is monitoring a move, this enables EM to reduce empty mileage and find ways of achieving monetary savings.
- EM’s reach is global.
Eurovan Movers profile:
EM is an organisation that operates on the basis of “partners’ rather than members. Although there are no membership criteria listed it’s clear that the process for becoming a partner is fairly involved and requires a good fit between EM and the potential partner, as well as the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Most destinations in both the European and World partner categories have only one business listed – other than Germany, the UK, Switzerland and Italy, which have 4+.
The idea of EM is to offer customers a more cohesive approach to an international move by connecting up independent local movers. EM itself coordinates the process where the move is within the EU.
What makes EM distinctive is the fact that it has a centralised command but works with local movers, retaining local knowledge and connections, as well as being able to offer central control.
Criteria for membership:
No membership criteria are listed on the website – instead, the website says this:
Certainly it takes more than having carried out a domestic removal or two to become a partner.
If you believe you can benefit from the synergies a network can provide, and if you think that some of your fresh and unconventional ideas should be merged together with the experience of over 30 years of moving, you have now found the right source.

Opinions about Eurovan International Movers Network
Eurovan Movers doesn’t appear that frequently online – not surprising given its limited number of “partners” – but there are a couple of businesses that mention it.
There are a number of bad reviews for the Panama partner of the group – responsible for a negative experience, stolen items and damaged items.
There is now no Panama partner listed on the Eurovan Movers website so it may be that the partnership was dissolved after the complaints. Eurovan is listed as one of “the most important international moving & shipping organisations, associations, schemes, guilds, councils etc’ alongside organisations such as British Association of Removers.
