Membership of the MTC is open to any company that is a current member of the BAR Overseas Group, and may apply for membership without the need for a proposer or seconder. All other Companies must apply for membership in accordance with the Club’s Rules.

Since it is displayed prominently on many websites, it’s clearly viewed as a good thing to be a member of by the removers themselves. However, there seems to be little communication to consumers why it matters to them.
