European Relocation Association profile:
EuRA fulfills a number of functions for its members, including offering training and advice and providing support for relocation professionals. The association also lobbies on behalf of members, pushing for changes and developments that can help the relocation industry to grow.
It is an information source too, regularly publishing both externally and internally, and has also set itself up as a think tank for future industry planning and development.
Providing benchmarks for best practice is one of EuRA’s key aims and this is how the EuRA Quality Global Seal has developed, an accreditation program for those in the relocation business.
The Quality Global Seal is an audit system designed to ensure those who carry it meet certain standards in service provision and process management. It is open to Full, Associate and Worldwide EuRA Members.
EuRA was initially launched as a response to the increasing demand for a cross-border industry body in Europe and now has a huge reach.

Opinions about EuRA
EuRA is mentioned on the websites of a variety of businesses (including movers and serviced apartments, for example) and often in the context of demonstrating how that business can bring additional benefits to the relocation process.
The global reach of the association is something that is frequently highlighted, as well as the fact that it has been involved in setting quality standards for the industry. When it is cited on websites it is described as an “industry body’ with an educational arm and a code of conduct that all members must adhere to.
EURA is an excellent partner to help reach our goal of educating the market place to show how Serviced Apartments can bring true benefit in the relocation process.
EuRA’s role and basic objectives include: to enhance and maintain quality standards for the industry, promote the industry, and enable ongoing professional education within the membership. All of this will benefit the mobile employee and family and when that occurs, then we as a group will benefit.
EuRA is an industry body for Relocation Professionals in both Europe and Worldwide. Relocation Service Providers are required to abide by EuRA’s Rules of Conduct.
